may very well have the largest number of dating profiles on the Internet.
You will find no shortage of listings regardless of where you live,
and most of the profiles are pretty in-depth because of the comprehensive
questionaire that members must fill out.
Browsing listings and creating your own profile is absolutely free. Your profile can include multiple pictures, as well as voice files. Each profile is pretty detailed, covering physical attributes including tattoos and piercings, as well as favorite local hot spots, hobbies/interests, and even what pets you own. We have found Match.com's profiles to be one of the most extensive and best available.
The search feature is pretty standard, but includes a "keyword search" which can come in handy if you are looking for something particular. Also available are "custom searches" that let you get more specific about interests, lifestyle, appearance, etc.
Some of the newer features include Match Mobile, which allows you to surf and view member profiles from a mobile device. You can also update your profile and send email messages to other members. Without a doubt, Match.com's strongest feature is its huge database of members. With so many potential matches to choose from, you probably have the best chance of finding someone on Match. In fact, Match.com is so confident you will meet someone through their site that they offer a 6-month guarantee. Basically, if you don't meet your match in 6 months, you get the next 6 months free.
Overall, we highly recommend Match.com. It is a fun, well-thought-out site with plenty of features and tons of listings. At the very least, we suggest you create a profile and search the listings a while to see what this site has to offer.

At one point, Match.com only had one subscription level, but in recent years memberships have been offered in two tiers. The standard membership allows you to use all the features of the site and includes mobile access. Premium accounts, on the other hand, give your account a bit more visibility by offering the following benefits:
- Highlighted profile: Your profile gets highlighted in the searches, thus attracting more attention.
- Email read notification: You will be notified when an email you sent has been read by the recipient.
- First impressions: Your profile will be among the first ones that are sent to new members.
So is a premium account worth the extra cost? While it is definitely not necessary to have one in order to succeed, considering that it is only an extra $2.00 per month if you subscribe for 6 months, we believe the extra features you get is worth the price.
