OUR REVIEW: Interracial Match is an dating site devoted to people who are interested in become involved with members of different races. Aside from its obvious focus, the site functions much in the same way as traditional sites. Setting up a profile is free, and users can upload multiple photos and post descriptions of themselves as well as what they are looking for in a match. Signup is relatively quick and easy, with all the standard profile questions such as height, age, education, religion, etc. The whole process only took about 3 minutes. The site has an international scope, and users may search for their match either in their local area, nationwide, or internationally. The free search feature was pretty basic, only allowing users to search by geographic area. Paying Gold members have access to a more advanced search engine that allows them to narrow their search based on other criteria, such as ethnicity, body type, religion, and nature of relationship sought (i.e. casual dating, friend, marriage, etc.). Given the specific scope of the site, there were a good number of profiles in the various areas where we conducted searches. One particularly useful feature was that people with profiles are able to post exactly what they are looking for in a match, down to the ethnicity, age, education, and other characteristics they are interested in. Aside from standard features common to all sites, such as sending "winks," emails, and chat rooms, Interracial Match has some additional features including the ability to post blogs and participate in forums. When viewing a members profiles, people can view the blogs/posts made by that particular user, and also leave comments about that member, although we found that this feature is not that commonly used. Interracial Match is a great option for people who are specifically interested in dating interracially, and have not had much luck on the more standard dating sites. FEATURES:
