OUR REVIEW:
Friend Finder is one of the largest and oldest dating sites on the Internet, and functions in much the same way as many other dating sites. Friend Finder can be used to find romance, as well regular friends or activity partners in your area. There are currently 3.5 million active members, and setting up a profile is free. This will allow other members to see your listing, but only paying subscribers will be able to initiate contact with another member.
The profiles cover basic information, but is a little less detailed than what most other sites provide. This makes the signup process very quick, but unless members take the time to write good descriptions, some of the listings will be a bit thin. People who like to browse listings before becoming a paying member will find that Friend Finder is more restrictive in what it will allow free members to do. For instance, you cannot view unlimited profiles and photos unless you are a paying subscriber, and you can only conduct very basic searches. To make up for this, however, Friend Finder offers up to 3 free months on your membership, depending on the length of your subscription.
Once you are a paying member, you will have access to numerous rich features, such as the ability to record a voice message using your phone, the chance to upload video messages, and access to advanced search features that tend to generate good results. An added benefit is that your listing will appear above the "standard listings," making your profile much more prominent in relation to others.
Overall, Friend Finder is a very strong dating/friendship site that is easy to join, easy to use, and great for people with busy schedules.
