OUR REVIEW: ePersonals offers all the basic tools you would expect from a solid dating site. As with most other dating sites, you can create your own personal profile and search other members for free, but if you decide to contact someone via email or IM, you need to sign up for a full subscription. We found that on the whole, ePersonals seems to have fewer listings than larger competitors like match.com, however, their membership fee is also less expensive, and the smaller community could work to your advantage, making your listing more visible to other members. Setting up a free profile can be relatively quick, and only takes about 15 - 20 minutes, even if you answer each section thoroughly. The online questionnaire covers all the basic topics such as religion, education, smoking/drinking habits, and characteristics you are seeking in a partner. Some of the features offered include "winking" to members you are interested in, and the ability to send "icebreakers," which are pre-written emails meant to break the ice. "Private Call" minutes can be purchased at reasonable rates, and this allows you to talk over the phone anonymously with another member at a time that is convenient for both parties. The search feature is very extensive, and allows you to really narrow down your search based on any or all of characteristics listed in the member profiles. If you are looking for an easy to use, straightforward dating site, and don't care for too many bells and whistles like personality tests and elaborate matching schemes, ePersonals is a reasonably priced, straightforward site that may provide everything you are looking for.
