Chemistry.com Review:
Chemistry.com was launched some years ago as a direct competitor to eHarmony. The site is owned and operated by its sister site, Match.com, and can be thought of as a counterpart that focuses exclusively on a scientific matchmaking system similar to what eHarmony offers.
While eHarmony's matchmaking system is based on Neil Clark Warren's research (a psychologist), Chemistry.com in contrast uses the research of Dr. Helen Fisher, an anthropologist. Both scientists have devoted their lives to examining what makes people compatible, and you will need to be the judge of which site delivers better results.
Like eHarmony, joining Chemistry.com requires you to take a test. We found Chemistry.com's test, however, to be less tedious to take, as it included plenty of pictures and puzzles, in addition to straight questions. While we did not time how long it takes to complete the quiz, we got the sense that it went fast than eHarmony's questionnaire.
One you sign up, Chemistry.com will send you 5 matches a day. If you wish to communicate with your matches, you will need to become a paying member, at which time you will begin receiving 10 matches a day. Like eHarmony, Chemistry.com uses a guided communication process, called "123 meet," whereby members can send each other short questions. At a later stage, they are able to email each other freely.

Current Chemistry.com Special Offers:
- 14-day Free Trial
This free trial is a terrific way to get a feel for how Chemistry.com works, without risking any money upfront. For two weeks, you will be able to use all the features of the site unrestricted, in the same manner that regular members do.
- Get 3 months for the price of 1
This is an ongoing special at Chemistry.com, which will allow you to save more than 50% off on your first 3 months. The regular price for a 3-month memberships is $99.96, however, you will be able to get this membership plan for the usual 1-month membership price of $49.95.
- Free Communication Weekends
These promotions work the same way as eHarmony's Free Communication Events. For the duration of the promotion, you are able to communicate with other members for free. Frankly, we believe the free trial offer on our site is a much better deal, since you will be able to communicate freely for a longer period of time (14 days as opposed to a single weekend). Moreover, Free Communication Weekends are available only during special promotional periods, whereas you can utilize the free trial offer on this page whenever you like.
